Lee Battle – Artistic Director
Lee is a Lecturer in Media and Performance at The University of Salford. Lee began his career as an actor playing the role of Simon Green in Coronation Street. Credits include Doctors (BBC), The Royal (ITV), Casualty (BBC), Wire in the Blood (Coastal), The Street (BBC), Vincent (ITV), Awaydays (Red Union Films), and Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood (Universal Pictures). Lee has a first class degree in Drama and an MA in Creative Writing with the Royal Exchange and Bolton Octagon theatres.
Cris Grixti – Drama Tutor
Cris trained as an actor at The Arden School of Theatre, before embarking on a career in performance, and as a teacher of drama working with schools and community groups across the North West. As an actor, Cris’ versatility has enabled him to perform a wide variety of roles on stage and screen. In addition to acting, Cris also works professionally as a singer, and he is currently completing a degree in Theatre and Performance Practice.
Hannah Bounds – Drama Tutor
Hannah is a highly skilled performer and vastly experienced drama and dance teacher. With a degree in Performing Arts and a PGCE in Secondary Drama, Hannah has taught at numerous schools in Manchester and London as a Head of Drama, and a GCSE Examiner for Edexcel and Pearson. Hannah has also taught and directed at the International School of Geneva, as well as privately for Simply Theatre Academy. Hannah is also a LAMDA specialist, and has also studied towards an MA in Teaching and Learning Improvisation.
Jen – Administrator
Jen has a degree in Childhood and Youth Studies, and is experienced in working with children and young people particularly in the primary sector. As well as taking care of all our administrative needs, Jen also assists in our weekly classes, overseeing safeguarding and liaising with parents.
Di – Assistant
Di assists with the running of our showcases and holiday courses, working alongside Jen to ensure our creative work is as safe and efficient as possible. Diane is qualified in child care and early years education, and is particularly skilled in working with our younger members.
